Alliva in your assistant
Your assistant searches your memory, adds tasks and notes and marks things done. It can’t delete anything, and you can disconnect it any time.

Alliva in Claude on your phone
Add it on claude.ai
The Claude app can’t add connectors. Open claude.ai in Safari → Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector, paste the address, sign in to Alliva and press Connect.

The connector appears in the Claude app by itself. Ask: What threads do I have?
Keys and disconnecting
Both live in the Alliva app, Profile → Connections.
No app yet? The web app opens instead.
The Connections screen comes to the iOS app with the next update. Until then use the web app, app.alliva.tech: it works on the phone too.
What the assistant can do
- Search your memory. Tasks, notes and threads — by words, by due date (overdue, today, this week, a range), by thread or by area. It can open a thread for an overview: open tasks, recent notes, areas, counts.
- Add. One task with a due date, time and priority; one note; up to 25 tasks in one go; or a raw stream of thoughts, which Alliva sorts the usual way into tasks, notes and threads.
- Update a card. Mark it done or reopen it, move or clear the due date, change the time, the priority, the title or the text.
- Never delete. There is no delete tool. Whatever the assistant adds, you can undo in the app as always.
- Not create threads. It can say which thread a card belongs to; the card is attached only when the name matches exactly or Alliva is confident. New threads are born the usual way, from what you capture.
- Read only, if you want. A key or a connection with Read only can search but cannot add or change anything.
Dates are always in your time zone. Each answer tells the assistant today’s date, so “tomorrow” means tomorrow.
Things to ask:
- What’s overdue? · What’s due this week in the Renovation thread?
- Add a task: call the dentist, Thursday at 10. · Note: the plumber’s name is Marco.
- Mark “buy filters” done. · Move “tax return” to next Monday.
- Here is everything on my mind: … Sort it. — Alliva processes it like a recording: tasks, notes and threads appear in the app a moment later.
When the assistant is unsure which thread a card belongs to, it leaves the choice to Alliva, which sorts it in the background like any other capture. If the assistant offers you a thread and you say yes, the card is pinned to it.
About keys
- Keys are created in Profile → Connections → Create key. You need an account signed in with Apple or Google: a guest account cannot connect assistants — finish signing up first.
- Name a key after where it will live, for example “Claude Code on my laptop”. One key per machine means you can disconnect one without touching the others.
- Turn on Read only if the assistant should only search.
- The key starts with
alv_and is shown once — copy it right away. If you lose it, create a new one and disconnect the old. You can have up to 10 keys at a time. - Claude, ChatGPT and other clients that sign in through Alliva need no key.
- The Connections screen comes to the iOS app with the next update; until then use the web app at app.alliva.tech, on the phone too.
Disconnecting
- Profile → Connections → Disconnect next to the assistant or the key. It takes effect from the assistant’s next call; a key stops working everywhere it is used and cannot be restored.
- Removing the connector inside Claude or ChatGPT also revokes its access.
- Deleting your account revokes every connection and key.
What the assistant sees
- Only what it asks for, one call at a time: the titles, text, dates and thread names of the cards that match. It never sees your recordings or the background structuring.
- The answer lands in the assistant’s chat. Anthropic, OpenAI, Cursor and the other makers handle that chat under their own terms, not ours; our Privacy Policy covers what happens on Alliva’s servers. Alliva does not see your conversation with the assistant — only its calls.
- Searching by meaning and sorting a stream of thoughts use AI processing, so they work only if you turned AI on in the app (see the AI Processing Notice). Without it, search is by words only.
- We record which tool was called and whether it succeeded — never the text, the titles, the thread names or your question.
- Everything runs on our servers in the EU, like the rest of Alliva.
Limits
- 60 calls per minute and 300 writes per 24 hours per account, across all your connections. Reading keeps working when the daily write budget is spent.
- 25 tasks per batch, 20 000 characters per stream of thoughts.
- 10 keys at a time.
- A Claude.ai or ChatGPT connection renews itself while in use; after 30 days without use the assistant asks you to sign in again.
If something doesn’t work
| The client says 401, “invalid token” or asks to reconnect | The key was disconnected, or the connection was revoked or unused for 30 days. Create a new key, or connect again. |
|---|---|
“Finish signing up first” / account_required | You are using Alliva as a guest. Sign in with Apple or Google in the app, then try again. |
forbidden when adding or updating | The key or connection is read only. Create a key without Read only, or connect again and allow writing. |
ai_consent_required, or “semantic search disabled: AI processing is off” | Sorting a stream of thoughts, thread suggestions and searching by meaning need AI processing. Turn AI on in the app. |
rate_limited … retry after N s | The per-minute or the daily limit. Wait the stated time; reading is not affected by the daily write limit. |
| “This link has expired” on the connect page | A connection request lives 10 minutes and works once. Start again from Claude or ChatGPT. |
consent_required | Open the app and accept the current Terms, then try again. |
busy | Alliva is sorting your previous capture. Try again in a few seconds. |
